Appeal for Help in Islamic Marriage

This is an appeal to any Muslim women that might be able to help me.

My name is Yana, I'm 24 and I'm a revert and I'm being trapped in my Islamic marriage by my husband.

He is refusing to give me talaq. I've gone to the Islamic councils and they have refused to give me a fask.

Even though he has not supported me for nine months, he has not provided for me financially whatsoever.

We live in different states. He has not provided me a house, clothes or food.

And I am about to give up. I have nothing left to try.

I've contacted three Islamic councils and one of them have already told me that I need to produce four witnesses,

even though he doesn't have to bring any.

I have to argue my case in front of a panel of imams.

And I have to have three reconciliation meetings with this man who has financially abused me and coerced me

and tried to manipulate me.

He has even contacted my family and demanded them to do something about the fact that I want to leave this marriage.

I'm seeking help. I'm feeling extremely vulnerable, extremely desperate and I feel like I have no voice.
