Canada's Affordability Claim Challenged Over Food and Housing Costs

Something happened to me the other day that was so wild, I almost didn't even believe that it was real.

Our Prime Minister said this.

Affordability is the best it's been in over a decade.

I know. More affordable than at any time in a decade.

Apparently he hasn't been to a grocery store lately.

If he had, he'd know the reality that you're paying $17,600 to feed a family of four for a year.

There are 2.2 million people lined up at food banks.

We have the worst food inflation in the G7.

The worst housing costs in the G7.

And because of all those high costs under this Liberal government,

our families have more household debt than any other country in the G7.

That's the reality.

But for anyone who has their feet on the ground or who pays taxes in Canada,

maybe that is the problem because after all,

our Prime Minister's company stashes cash in offshore tax havens

so that he doesn't have to pay the taxes on his investments that you pay here in this country.

You deserve a Prime Minister that is grounded in reality

and that will take the steps to make your reality more affordable.

Get rid of all the hidden taxes on food production and home building.

Lower your overall tax burden.

Stop printing money so that our dollars preserve their purchasing power.

That's how we get back to reality and back to affordability.
