Senate Intelligence Committee and Kash Patel's Moscow Trip
That Kash Patel was coming to Moscow this week,
and there was a five-page letter written by the Senate
Intelligence Committee basically telling him not to, and it was very
detailed why. Um, and I guess my question to you
is, how much influence does the Senate
Intelligence Committee have?
Are they being a mouthpiece for those elements in the CIA that don't want
Kash Patel to go to Moscow? And why would Kash
Patel be going to Moscow? Now, now remember, this trip was set up
before this, um, energy deal. What, what is your thoughts on
it?
Yeah, I, I really have no idea what he's doing.
Um, because, uh, uh, unless-
He may not know.
... unless there is some...
Yeah, well, yeah, that's true. But, uh, unless there is some, uh,
classified criminal investigation
in which-
Okay
... the United States and Russia are working on it together,
that's the only thing I could come up with,
that they could conceivably be involved
with some, a joint criminal investigation.
Uh, you know, one, one, uh, it's an extreme
possibility is that I, I know
there have been, uh, evidence submitted
to the Department of Justice, uh, a- and then also to
the Inspector General at the Department of War, Department of Defense,
regarding corruption
in Ukraine.
And-
Mm
... the fact that members of the US Congress,
I know that
Lindsey Graham was getting money.
I'm told that Chuck Schumer-
Yes
... was getting money. I mean, in excess of $23 million.
Uh, so-
Mm-hmm
... uh, you know, if those allegations are true, you know,
conceivably, uh, maybe Kash Patel, uh, is heading
up an investigation and looking for support from Russia,
uh, with, with regard-
Mm-hmm
... because there are, there are, uh, exiles from
Ukraine in Russia that have, uh,
evidence and information to that, uh, to, to, re- related to
that. Apart from that, I can't think of any other reason for Kash
Patel
to go, unless he's just a tourist interested in
seeing a
beautiful city and eating great food.
