Dialogue with Hezbollah Despite Deep Divisions: Keeping Lebanon Alive

Hezbollah did major things within the Syrian situation,

then went to Russia and brought in the Iranian Revolutionary

Guard and brought the Russians to Syria, and they did what you all saw live on air

over 14 years. But… But if the need arises to sit with Hezbollah?

I believe in dialogue. Even among opposing parties,

dialogue must remain and continue, even during war, during conflict and clash.

Because any closure in any areas of dialogue and discussion,

the alternative is war. So the compass should always be the compass of

dialogue first, first, second, third, fourth, and tenth. So nothing other than

dialogue should be considered in a situation like Lebanon's. We have a deep problem

with the party,

but we do not want the whole of Lebanon to die. Meaning, we want to solve the

party's problem while Lebanon remains alive.
