Iran's Response to U.S. and Israel Aggression
How would you advise the Iranian, uh, government in the
circumstances given, uh, uh, the seismic
impact of this war? Billions, uh, pushed, uh, well,
into poverty partly because of the high inflation, let alone the mass
casualty events we've seen, uh, in this region in the past, uh, since,
uh, February.
Look, it- uh, Iran is, uh, Iran is, uh, facing a,
a, an existential war. It was attacked in a
brutal aggression,
uh, by the United States and Israel.
I think people should remember that on the first day of the
attack, the leaders of Iran were together
because they were discussing the next round of
negotiation because there was a supposedly a
negotiating process underway. That's the
American and Mossad style, which is, "Oh,
get the other side to negotiate, and then when they're together,
kill them."
That is literally the policy that they
followed. They were together to discuss what to say
or how to
respond in the next round of negotiation that was to take place in Vienna the
following week. The Omani mediator had said how much
progress
had been made, and so Mossad and, uh, Trump and Bibi
thought, "This is a great opportunity to kill all
of these people."
And yet Iran has continued to offer more negotiations, though,
even with this.
You know, they're very civilized and very nice people.
I know, I know them. They, in my mind, carry
a dignity of a civilization that, uh,
is 2,500 years old. The history is
that Persia's been there a very long time, and the Persian
and the Iranian negotiators are very dignified, very
intelligent, and very well-educated people,
and the United States and
Israel think that they're just targets for assassination.
