Discussion on Western Propaganda Systems
And elite power has become more sophisticated at deploying that?
Well, they're wonderful at it.
I mean, you know, the Western propaganda system.
I grew up under communism in Hungary,
and there was a propaganda system there.
It was very crude,
and everybody could see through it.
People, we couldn't talk about it,
because that would incur some consequences,
but everybody could see it.
In the West, the propaganda system is
so subtle and so pervasive and so persuasive
that people don't even know they're being propagandized.
So they'll see that article about Ukrainian children
just for what it is,
but they won't see it as part of selective empathy.
And they'll never think,
well, what about Palestinian children?
