Exploring New Age Spirituality and Ancient Wisdom

Can someone explain to me why spirituality is called New

Age these days? There's literally nothing

new about spirituality. Nothing. Nothing.

Do you know what is actually New Age? Science.

What has been happening is that we have been separating things

that have always been one. So we are separating psychology,

astronomy, medicine, philosophy, magic,

religion. We are separating all of these things,

and this is the

New Age, because in the old times, all of this was one.

For example, the stars, they were our clock, they were

our calendar, they were our guidance and mirrors of our own

energies that we have within. We see this in many indigenous cultures

that

are praying to nature, that are praying to the skies, to the earth,

to the plants, to the animals, and this is because the body was not

being used as a machine like it is being used right now.

We're doing something for 40 hours a week, not having time to

actually connect to our own existence.

The body is a micro cosmos. It is a small universe

reflecting a greater universe. As above, so

below is not a New Age affirmation.

It expresses the entire cosmology, the entire universe.

So when we separated these things into science and spirituality, that is

when we started to use our body as a machine and not

as the vessel that it actually is. When we started to believe

that only what is measurable can be real.

People are confused why there are more depression and suicidal rates

than ever in the world. And this is so easy to understand

when we look at this life only in the material way.

When we only focus on matter, there is no connection to

divine. And if you don't have the combination of

the divine and the matter,

you will become depressed. Your vessel will stop working

because you're not in connection to the real essence of existence.

When people were connected to their land, to the stars, to their

ancestors, to their dreams, to the cycles of nature,

to the energy of a

place, that is when people remembered why they're

here, and that is

why peop- when people remembered their place in the

universe.

Now everyone is lost because nobody remembers their place anymore.

So why are we saying New Age to ancient wisdom?
