Discussion on DC Cinematic Universe Continuity
you know, where the movie falls is it, it, it's sort of, I believe that it really starts to
represent its own, its own path. You know, it doesn't really, it's kind of separate now from
what I would say the DC universe, cinematic universe in continuity. I think it is kind of,
it's divergent in that way. For me, you know, I think Justice League, you know, I've heard someone
say like, oh, like, so it's the, it's the, you're, you're entering the Snyder-verse now when you
watch the, and frankly, you know, this notion that, you know, what I would, and what you'll
see in Justice League and Batman v Superman and Man of Steel, they are, there's continuity across
those three movies. That's really, I think, you know, very, you know, I think like that's what I
really, that's my main focus is to satisfy that narrative structure. To continue that story that
so many people fall in love with. Aquaman, the movie, you know, takes place after this. Yes.
But Wonder Woman 84 takes place before this movie. So it's an interesting timeline, if you will. But
I do think that to, again, to try to, to look at it as a really sharp continuity, I think would be a
mistake. I think there is a, like I say, I think I, those movies now, you know, in a lot of ways,
the theatrical version probably of Justice League is a tighter, is tighter in continuity to what
they're doing now in the DCEU. Because frankly, that was a movie that they kind of, they were in
charge of the elements, right. And because of this, and because, you know, Warner Brothers has done the
kind and amazing gesture of saying, you know, that could just, you know, go finish revision.
It hasn't, you know, it's going to be divergent in some ways, you know, it's just, it's just by
its nature that, you know, and I think that's the thing you want, because it just allows more and
more and more. DC is famous for doing these great graphic nauticals and, you know, these stories
that come out and are really the signature of the people who are making them. And so it's a great
comparison.
