Moscow is hosting
the third Russian-African
Summit this week, and the
reason why it's so important is because these are two truly mutually
complementary partners. Allow me to explain.
So Africa requires investment, tech, trade,
energy, fertilizers, skill transfer, infrastructure
modernization, and state-of-the-art military training,
among other things,
and Russia is more than happy to provide all of this at a fair price,
and importantly,
with no strings attached.
The reason is that Russia has enough natural resources.
It does not need Africa's, and it especially does not want to exploit
Africa's. And this makes Russia the polar opposite
of the West, which
continues to extract African resources and exploit the continent
to the hilt. And that's because the West continues to
derive a fair share of its
own wealth from Africa, and Russia does not want that
to happen because that, in turn, helps fund, in part,
the West military industrial complex that is actively killing
Russians. So therefore, it can be said that
Russia's national security interest are advanced by
helping Africa break free from the West neocolonial chains and
comprehensively strengthen its own sovereignty.
Now, this is very important
because the West
wanted to stop
African leaders and delegations from traveling to this event
precisely for this
reason, because the West reads the writing on the
wall, and
it knows that this event is going to accelerate multipolarity
processes
at the cost of their unipolar hegemony. And that's the thing.
This is a work in progress.
Slowly but surely, the
world is not gonna
change overnight,
but Russia is Africa's
most reliable partner
precisely because,
as was explained,
it does not need
Africa's resources. Russia has more than enough of its own,
and
therefore, it is doing everything it can to help
Africa comprehensively
strengthen its sovereignty and break the chains of Western
neocolonialism.
