Gilberto Moura's Stellar World Cup Performance
Gilberto Moura, a star is truly born last night for me because we came into this tournament knowing that he was seen as
maybe the future of Mexican football. Someone who could be a star, someone who has had an impact in Liga MX already just 17 years old.
This kid is the youngest player to play in a knockout stages since Pele in
1958. The youngest player in this World Cup by a country mile and he made Moises
Caicedo, a hundred million pound midfielder, one of the best in the world at his position and he had him in his pocket all night
long. He's so calm, he's so poised and composed on the ball. The way he picks out his passes, like he had such awareness and
such vision of what everyone around him is doing and it's that pick it up, give it, pick it up, give it and always seemed to be
those killer balls. Created two chances, he had four passes in the final third which were which were killer.
He won the duels, he won the fouls, like he just was doing absolutely everything in that midfield.
You're sitting there going, this looks like, you know, somebody in their prime at 27, 28 years old who's playing in their third World Cup.
Jude Bellingham's played in four major tournaments for England and this is what we see from him.
And this kid's 17 years old and looks like an absolute superstar already.
Ah, just wonderful performance from Mora.
And on the S-World YouTube channel.
