Exploring Historical Context of Prophets
You know, you just think about certain individuals
that have existed.
They make no sense because they are so removed from the historical
context. Like, where did Jesus come from?
Where did Muhammad come from? Where did Buddha come from,
right? I mean, given the historical context,
we should not have people
like that. Muhammad
was
barely literate, right? I mean, was he literate? Maybe not.
But he grew up, but he was born, he lived in the Arabian
desert.
And
he became one of the most influential prophets in
human history. Same thing with Jesus. Jesus was illiterate.
He was born in a very poor family.
And you ask yourself, where did these people come from?
Because from using our modern psychological
tools,
we could not possibly predict that they would come in their time,
right? So I think the only explanation is they're messengers of God, which
is what
they said they were, right? We come as a prophet to
spread the message of God. And I think
that when originally their message was the
same,
but over time, because of empire,
their messages became corrupted, okay?
I think that during the time Muhammad and Jesus were saying the
same thing, which is we all come from the source.
God loves every one of us. There should be no hierarchy.
There should be no inequality.
There should be no caste and difference among
us.
I think that's what every prophet has said.
But again, over time, the message has become very corrupt.
