Standing With Gaza: A Call for Lasting Solidarity and Boycotts

Peace be upon you, and prayers and peace be upon our master Muhammad.

In light of the famine, killing, hunger, and destruction happening to our brothers in Gaza,

we provided them a service. We literally filled them up.

The people of Gaza are full, but do you know what they're full of?

They're full of our betrayal.

Man, we let them down in a way that humanity cannot even imagine.

Look, I'm going to say a few words, and my reward is with God.

The fervor that happened when the Gaza war first started...

...it is shameful and forbidden for it to decline.

Some people think, "Man, governments can't do anything."

"What can I do?" Who said you're required to produce results, man?

You are not required to produce results. When you pray, you don't just enter paradise.

There is a Day of Judgment, and then you will see the results.

You are required to act.

You are required to show gratitude to God for the blessing.

What is that blessing?

The followers God has blessed you with are a blessing.

The responsibility God gave you by placing you in a position in the state is a blessing.

You are responsible for it.

You show gratitude for this blessing by speaking up for the afflicted people.

You show your gratitude for this blessing by speaking out for these people.

You're not required to post a story and wait.

'Oh, the aid got in!' 'No, it didn't.' That's also for nothing.

The same mindset that says boycotts are useless is the same one that tells you not to post.

It's not useful.

Man, they've been under destruction and death for two years. Can't you be patient for two years?

To stand with them, a true stand, purely for God Almighty.

You are not required to produce results.

You are acting with honor before God Almighty.

Man, it pains you to see the youth of the nation gathered…

…around an artist, a singer, who's singing while you dance for him.

And a son of Islam is being led to the slaughter, man.

For slaughter, we are being slaughtered, and I'm sitting here dancing?

How?

Man, how could you bring yourself to go and buy a ticket?

And you went and stood there and danced.

While people are dying, man. How?

Man, how? How?

Don't give me excuses. Don't give me any. I'll stand with these people to my last breath.

Until I see a son of Gaza living just as I live.

Happy like I'm happy, breathing like I breathe, eating like I eat.

That's all I understand.

Other than that, I don't wait for results, man. I just do my part while I'm alive until I see that result.

God willing, the only result I'll see is before God Almighty on the Day of Judgment.
