Empowerment for Single Mothers
side of the congregation, but you are ready to be a single mother.
It's okay.
You're ready to leave that man. You're ready to have your kids in a
peaceful
environment. You're ready to have your peace. You
are ready.
Your kids are not going to resent you.
Your kids are not going to hate you.
Your kids are going to appreciate you for taking them out of a chaotic environment.
No matter what that man is telling you to get you to doubt
yourself, you are strong
enough to do it by yourself. I know it's disheartening
when the family that you had
envisioned in your mind did not work out, but that's okay, 'cause at the end of the
day, you can create a new family with someone
that's actually going to
appreciate you and love you and value you.
But in order for you to get to that point, you have to leave.
I know it is so much harder said than done, but six months from now, a
year from now, two years from now, you're gonna be in such a better place.
You're going to be so proud of yourself and not only you, but your kids.
Your kids are going to be so proud of you.
Your happiness is ultimately your kids' happiness, and if your happiness is you by
yourself, then do that for you and your kids.
If no one else tells you this, you're gonna hear it from me:
You got this,
for you and your kids. Your kids deserve to come home
and not have to worry about
if mommy and daddy are arguing again.
Do not worry about other people's opinions. Do not worry about judgments.
At the end of the day, judgments are not paying your bills.
If you're a bitter baby mama, then so what?
At least your kids know that you're a good mom,
and that's what matters.
Who cares about what other people have to say?
Especially a man that's been emotionally, physically, mentally abusing you,
who cares what he has to say? Do what's best for your mental health,
your peace,
and your kids. I promise your kids will thank you later,
I
promise.
