Pastor's Perseverance Amid Persecution
When Pastor Danu accepted Christ, he couldn't keep it to himself.
He preached boldly, drawing attention and hostility.
Accused of terrorism, he was jailed for three years.
But it was there that he learned to read the Bible.
When he returned, he found his village thirsty for truth.
Soon, one hundred and fifty villagers were gathering in his home to
worship. That's when the trouble began.
Radicals attacked, tearing down his church.
Danu was beaten and jailed again.
Yet, with a smile on his face this time, Danu's
faith stood firm. Now, his family meets in
secret. "I will not stop worshiping openly," he
says,
"even if it means prison again." Pray for perseverance
for Danu and the believers from his village.
