Paul McCartney Death Conspiracy: The Billy Shears Song

Did Paul McCartney die and was replaced by Billy Shears?

And this old imposter been playing him for years.

There's lots of evidence to say that this is the case.

Different wife, different style, and even a different face.

So the rumor started in '66 when old Paul went astray.

Nobody knew where he had gone, and The Beatles wouldn't say.

Then three years later, up he pops looking kinda weird.

He's older, tall, and fans said, "No, that's not Paul that appeared." Oh, Billy Shears, Billy Shears, he's been a fraud for sixty years.

This Backstreet Paul impersonator still getting rich all these years later.

Will the truth ever come to light? And we'll learn about Paul's real plight?

Or will his headstone read McCartney? Oh, good old Billy Shears.

His partner left and he got one new, that's just a coincidence.

His manager died that same year at thirty-two, that makes no sense.

And then subliminal messages all started to show.

A picture here, a lyric there, like the man wants you to know.

Oh, Billy Shears, Billy Shears, he's been a fraud for sixty years.
