Confrontation at the Gas Station

One of them just touched my butt.

Who?

The one in the black shirt with the hat.

Let's go.

What?

We're leaving.

So you're just gonna let him do that to me?

Heard you.

Heard you.

Keep your voice down.

Don't tell me to keep my voice down.

Do something about it.

There's three of them.

He just put his hands on me,

and you're just telling me to get in the truck and we're going?

There's nothing I can do.

How am I supposed to feel protected by you if somebody can do that to me right in

front of you and you don't do anything?

What are you looking at?

Shut up.

Oh.

Oh.

You know, my dad was right.

How could I be so stupid?

You know what? Just take me home.

No, wait.

Just drive.

Look,

I'm sorry.

Hey, honey. Whoa, everything okay?

I don't wanna talk about it.

I'm going upstairs.

Mr. Hanson, I'm sorry.

What happened?

There were three guys at the gas station over on Davis.

One of them touched Harper.

She came over and told me,

but I have to admit to you I didn't do anything.

There were three of them.

Hey,

you brought her home safe and you're all right,

that's all I care about.

Yeah, but I didn't defend her.

I should've gone over there and fought for her.

Don't be silly, son.

You're not Conor McGregor,

and a real man sometimes calculates the risk of a situation in order to protect

his

family.

What do you mean?

You did the right thing, is what I mean.

Harper will get over it,

but I don't want you going home feeling any less because you decided to avoid

conflict.

Who knows what could've happened if you went over there to fight those

guys?

My daughter's home safe. Angry, but safe.

That I can live with.

I'm just so mad right now. I'm gonna go back there and see

if they're still there.

Don't you dare.

You listen to me right here and right now.

You did the right thing.

Leave it.

Go home, take a shower, get some rest.

Thanks, Mr. Hanson.

Get home safe now.

And don't you dare go back to that gas station.

I won't.

Have a good night, sir.

A real man doesn't need to prove himself every second.

He steps back, calculates the risk, and protects what

matters. We should treat our health the same way.

Minerals packs 100 plus trace minerals into one daily

formula, because sometimes what you're overlooking

matters

most.
