Ivermectin Dosage Guidelines
The trick with ivermectin, unlike so many other medications,
almost all other
medications, is it's weight-based.
Um, so you wanna take a patient's weight.
In America, I don't know why we do pounds, but we do, and that's where our
brain goes, so you wanna convert it to kilograms.
I get somebody, "How do you do that?" Just do the math for
me.
You guys take your weight,
divide it by 2.2, there's your kilogram.
So weight divided by 2.2 is your kilogram.
I'm not telling you my weight, otherwise...
So let's say 130 pound person, okay?
You're gonna divide it by 2.2. You're gonna get a little bit less than,
uh, or a
little bit less than half of that weight, and then you multiply it by whatever the
dose is. So if it's prevention, it's .2
milligrams of ivermectin per kilogram of body weight twice a week.
If you're doing parasite cleanse, I bump up a little bit.
I do .3 milligrams per kilogram, um, and
then I follow the protocol of my parasite cleanse.
If I have an actively sick COVID patient or flu
patient or RSV patient, 'cause I don't actually want you guys
testing, please don't test, um, then I bump you up .4 to
.6 milligrams per kilogram, and I'll take that number,
and then I'll probably round
up a little bit just to put it in even at the five milligram mark.
So if someone's 32 milligrams, I'll write a script for 35 milligrams
just to be- give you a little bump. Um, and then my cancer patients,
it really just
depends on what type of cancer they have, the stage that they
have, um, the progression. Are we going super aggressive?
And I might go all the way up to one milligram per kilogram or
higher. Um, so it just depends on what you're doing it
for, but the lowest I would
ever say on anything is .2 milligrams per kilogram
