Critique of Ryan Clark's ESPN Tenure
Breaking news from OutKick,
ESPN is letting go of Ryan Clark. Hallelujah!
And in honor of ESPN letting go of one of sports media's biggest race baiters,
let's go over some of the dumbest things he said during his time with ESPN.
He insinuated that racism maybe played a
part in the reason that Shador Sanders fell in the draft.
He claimed that all black head coaching candidates in college football would
be affected because Sharon Moore slept with one of his staffers.
He claimed Tom Brady was not a generational talent.
He claimed that the history of this country, a k a.
it sounds like slavery,
played a factor in zero black head coaches
getting hired in the NFL this offseason.
He seemed to dismiss Jalen Hurts and Patrick
Mahomes' Super Bowl wins because they weren't
authentically black like Lamar Jackson.
He went on first take
and made it overtly political trying to shame the Louisiana
governor for suggesting they should erect a statue for Charlie Kirk.
And one of his many public apologies,
he had to apologize to Peter Schrager for insinuating that he can be discredited
and not be taken serious because he never played football in the NFL.
I think I speak for everyone when I say ESPN will be much better off now that
Ryan Clark is gone.
