History of the Guanches and Their Pyramids

Did you guys know that the indigenous people of the Canary Islands built pyramids, made mummies, and nobody knows how they got there?

They're called the Guanches and they lived in the Canary Islands long before any Europeans got there.

Here's where it gets crazy, right?

When Spanish conquistadors got over there in the 1400s, they reported seeing tall, blonde, blue-eyed people who mummified their dead.

And by the way, they literally found the mummies. Like, that's confirmed.

The pyramids aren't really like the Egyptian ones, like, they're just treated as agricultural stockpiles, but still pretty cool to see.

What's crazy is that the Canary Islands are hundreds of kilometers from the mainland and the Guanches had no boats and no seafaring tradition.

Like, nobody knows how they got there.

The boring professionals say that they're North Africans and other much more fun people connect them to the ancient mystery of Atlantis being in the south of Spain and in the north of Africa.

The theory is that these guys were Atlantean survivors who got washed out into the Canary Islands by the great catastrophic flood depicted in every single major religion on Earth.
