Iran Protests and Human Rights Violations
I have to say, a lot of the footage was so graphic that I wouldn't be able to
include it in this show because it won't be able to be on YouTube.
This week, the Islamic Republic of Iran sent its
president to New York to
tell the world that it is the victim.
Well, the people of Iran filmed what their
regime did to them this past January,
and the protests had spread to more than one hundred cities and towns in all
31 of Iran's provinces. From the very first night,
the people made it
clear what they wanted, regime change.
They chanted, "Reza Shah, may your soul rest in peace." Within 24
hours, the regime sent in the Basij, first pellets and smoke
grenades. Then we saw snipers on the roof
and live ammunition,
and the people kept coming back night after night.
Then the crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, called on Iranians to take to the streets
on
January 8th. It was a moment of profound hope,
and at one point,
even the police in Abdanan stood with the protesters.
The Islamic Republic did respond to these protests with bullets, and
however bad you thought the situation was in Iran in January, I
promise you, it was worse. Uh, the snipers
and machine gunners, they were aiming intentionally for the eyes
and the face of these protesters. They shot children in the head and in the
chest. We saw IRGC agents literally dancing
gleefully while they massacred civilians.
We saw families who dug bullets out of their own sons and daughters
at home because going to a hospital meant arrest or, worse,
execution. The screams of the families that night are
absolutely chilling. The Islamic Republic, in this footage, we saw how they
used broadcasting building, uh, the building itself to
open fire on the people protesting below.
The people who were actually taking a great risk to film the things that they're
filming actually did pay, uh, the price, and we don't know what
happened to a lot of them. Now, uh, I do wanna say that the morning after, on
January 8th, the hospitals and morgues, uh, were so full
that they actually ripped up the carpets in the corridors and started
piling the bodies on top of each other there.
One morgue was actually so overwhelmed, it put up the faces of the dead on a
slideshow and told families to call out when they
recognized, uh, their child or their loved one.
More than 30,000 Iranian protesters were butchered by the
Islamic Republic on those nights.
And you know, I'm sorry to say it, uh, but the only thing that I can
compare the footage that I saw to is the October 7th, uh, footage
from Hamas. We saw the same glee over dead civilians,
uh, because this was their October 7th.
And this footage, all raw, is hours upon hours of evidence of the
crimes against humanity that are committed by the Islamic Republic
against
the Iranian people and what happened in those streets,
in those
hospitals, at those funerals. And frankly, it belongs in
front of an international crimes against humanity tribunal because the
men who gave the orders need to stand trial
