Jorge Lorenzo recalls Dani Pedrosa refusing to shake his hand
The rider I've hated the most on the track, more than Rossi, more than Márquez.
At 17, you experience everything much more intensely.
Do you remember that time in 2008 in Jerez?
He wins the race, I finish third, and the King of Spain
tried to reconcile us by getting us to shake hands.
That famous image.
When we get pole position,
there's a press room where you speak to the journalists,
to the Dorna camera, because there are no journalists there.
I finished speaking and tried to shake Pedrosa's hand.
And he rejected it.
And Colin Edwards was watching, saying, "What's with this guy,
not accepting your hand?"
In fact, when Simoncelli clipped Pedrosa in Le Mans in 2011,
and Pedrosa crashed and broke his collarbone,
when Pedrosa returned from surgery, in Le Mans,
Simoncelli also went to shake his hand, and Pedrosa refused.
He wasn't a very diplomatic guy, let's say, right?

Esa imagen tan famosa.
