Massachusetts Senator Welcomes Scottish Fans

Hey everybody, it's Massachusetts State Senator Paul Feeney here in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

This message is for Scotland and for the Tottenham Army.

First of all, we love you.

We love you.

You have come to Massachusetts, you have come to Boston, you have come to Foxborough.

First of all, you literally drank all of our beer, so now we have to restock that and figure

that out.

You have been playing the bagpipes everywhere, you've been singing, you've been chanting.

You have put traffic cones on the heads of all of our historic statues, which has been

something to see.

But more than that, you have visited our children's hospitals, you have made donations to Massachusetts

charities, you have played the bagpipes outside of elementary schools and in our neighborhoods,

you have been great.

great, courteous guests. You've been polite and you've been fun and I don't want that to end.

So here's my proposition. Let's get together and make this an annual thing.

Where the Tottenham comes over to Massachusetts, comes over to Foxborough and we do this again,

maybe every year. Let's get together with Governor Mari Healy, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll,

the Kraft organization and the folks over at Gillette Stadium. Maybe each summer you can

come over and play the U.S. Men's National Team or Ireland. If you haven't figured out,

we have some Irish folks here in Massachusetts as well. Maybe even Foxborough High School.

Whatever it takes to get you back here year after year, we'll promise to restock the beer.

Did I mention you literally drank all of our beer? But let's do it again.

You've been great guests.

We've been happy to have you here in Massachusetts.

We want you to come back.

And as I've heard many, many, many,

about 15,000 times over the last week,

no Scotland, no potty.

Sláinte.
