Google Genie 2 and God's Creation: Is the Universe Generated by Words

Did you hear about what Google just did?

Today, we introduce Genie 2, a foundation world model capable of generating

an endless variety of action controllable, playable 3D environments.

Still not clear?

The way that this program is going to work is anyone can describe a world

that they want in text and then step into and interact with a newly created world.

Like when you want an AI image, you know, monkeys rafting.

Hit enter.

AI creates the image.

This program by Google is going to do the same thing.

Type in the kind of world you want.

Hit enter.

Bingo bongo simulated world for just describing it in text.

Is is this how God created our universe?

Premise one.

God created our reality through some kind of text based world generative platform.

Check this out.

The major premise we have as Jews is that Hashem created the world by first creating

the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet and the numbers zero through nine.

And by combining letters together, he created the reality of everything that we know.

And you might not be aware of this, but we say this in our prayers all the time.

Blessed be the one who said and the world came into existence.

He said, he spoke.

What does it mean that Hashem spoke?

He spoke by combining the letters of the alphabet together.

It's not just poetry.

Hashem actually created letters and spoke those letters together and created reality.

That's what we have.

Psalms 33 9.

For he spoke and it came to be.

Hebrews 11 3.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.

So that the things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Which is how computer programs work.

You don't see the code running in the background.

You just see the image that's a result of the code.

The image exists because of the information behind the scenes that the game player doesn't see.

The Bible is very clear about this.

God spoke and reality happened.

Premise two.

We are creating text-based world generative programs because we are made in the image of God.

Then God said, let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.

You hear this idea that God may have used a text-based a generative platform and you go,

uh, this never that happened.

Uh, what do you think?

An explosion created in the universe?

Yeah.
