Hello, everyone. I am Issey Takahashi, who plays Rohan Kishibe. I am Marie Iitoyo,
who plays Kyoka Izumi.
We have been appearing in the“ Rohan Kishibe” series for about five years now,
and just recently the legendary original episode,“ Confessional,”
which is also the starting point,
has finally been made into a live- action
film! This time there are also original episodes created just for the movie, so we
really want all the fans and everyone who supports
us to be able to see it as soon as possible! And incredibly,
in the previous film we were allowed to go to the Louvre in Paris,
but this time we carried out the first all- Venice location
shoot in the history of Japanese cinema! Were there any differences between Paris
and Venice? Even though they are both in Europe, there was clearly
a sense that the cultures felt different. The colors used on the walls,
I feel like Paris was just a bit darker. In Italy they use whites and reds,
so it feels brighter, and somehow that difference felt really big.
Even in the churches, that really vivid, almost pure red you see in the background
really felt like it suited the city of Venice perfectly.
I think you can probably see that in the visuals!
I think it really comes through clearly! “ Rohan Kishibe Goes Nowhere:
Confessional,” brought to you on the largest scale in the history of“
Rohan Kishibe,” will open in theaters on Friday, May 23.
Please be sure to see it in theaters!
