Jebrail Scholars’ Council on Hijab and the Islamic Emirate

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah alone,

and peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet.

To the mujahid and martyr- nurturing nation of the ancient province of Herat,

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Today, a group of

biased youth who,

under the influence of the emotions of Afghanistan's sworn enemies......

those enemies who cannot bear to see peace, security, tranquility, and progress and

development in Afghanistan... ... through social media and cyberspace,

have deceived a group of ignorant, unaware, and sell- out youth,

and carried out some actions in the Jibrail area. On behalf of

the Scholars Council of Jibrail and its suburbs, and on behalf of the entire

proud, pious, and religious nation of Jibrail and its surroundings,

and the entire Shia nation of Afghanistan in general, especially ancient Herat,

I assure you that these deplorable and condemned actions are unacceptable to us.

Islamic hijab is a Sharia matter, a Quranic command,

It is the command of the glorious Quran and our religion,

It has nothing to do with politics and governments.

The zealous people of Afghanistan,

The devout people of Afghanistan by no means want their women,

God forbid, to be without hijab, to be unchaste,

or not to observe the dress code. But some, unfortunately,

get influenced by certain ideas,

which is condemned by us and is by no means acceptable.

We declare right here that we,

standing alongside the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,

fully support the implementation

of the noble Muhammadan Sharia with all our power and strength.

All the people of Afghanistan, the people of Jibrail, its surroundings, scholars,

influential figures,

and community representatives support and back this, and we condemn this act,

and this act by no means represents the people of Afghanistan,

nor does it represent the Hazara and Shia community of Afghanistan.

We by no means accept these movements and do not approve of them.

We support the Islamic hijab,

which is a Sharia obligation, is, and on the other hand,

our Afghan honor does not allow it. The Afghan honor

of no Muslim and free Afghan who belongs to this land, who belongs to

this geography, will never allow it,

will not give the opportunity for a group of sellouts to come and disrupt the

situation, and promote and propagate the issue of unveiling among the people.

Once again, this heinous act, we condemn this evil act,

and we support and back the implementation of the glorious Muhammadan Sharia.
