Choosing Between Fenbendazole and Mebendazole
Fenbendazole or mebendazole, which one should you choose?
My first answer is whichever one you can get.
Uh, most people can't get both. They can get one or the other.
Uh, in some countries, mebendazole is very readily available.
In other countries, fenbendazole is the one that's cheap and readily
available. So it's whatever you can get.
But if you have the luxury of choice, then it comes down to
the type of cancer.
Uh, here's a good rule of thumb. Brain cancers,
mebendazole. Mebendazole can get over the blood-brain
barrier better than
fenbendazole or ivermectin. So it's the antiparasitic of
choice for brain tumors like glioblastomas,
astrocytomas, but also for brain metastases,
for example,
from lung cancer or from breast cancer, triple negative.
Fenbendazole is very good for adenocarcinomas,
prostate adenocarcinomas, lung adenocarcinomas, pancreatic
adenocarcinomas. So these are tumors that are
glandular in origin. Mebendazole is good for
squamous cell carcinomas. So for example, head and neck cancers,
most of them are squamous cell carcinomas. Cervical squamous cell carcinomas.
There are certain prostate and rectal squamous cell carcinomas.
Esophageal squamous cell, for example, good for mebendazole.
Okay. So again, just to summarize, mebendazole,
good for brain,
good for squamous cell tumors, also good for breast
cancers as well. Whereas fenbendazole is good
for adenocarcinomas, lung, prostate,
pancreas, glandular carcinoma, and so on.
