Donald Trump Discusses The Apprentice Impact

It's unbelievable. It's time for the people of Arizona to

tell

Katie Hobbs... You remember The Apprentice?

"You're fired.

Get out of here, you."

"You're fired." Remember that? There's a big debate, would I have been

president? You know, The Apprentice was a tremendous success.

Went on for actually 14 seasons t- over

12 years. They d- it was so good, they did a couple of years where they

actually

put it on twice, which never happens.

But there's a big debate, would I have been president if I

didn't do The Apprentice? And The Apprentice went to many times the

number one show

on television. So the question was, would Donald Trump be president if

he didn't do The Ap- What's the, what's the answer to... Okay, ready.

Would Donald Trump be president if I didn't do The Apprentice?

Yeah.

Ask it the other way. If I didn't do The Apprentice,

would I be president?

Yeah.

And what about the other way? No?

So everyone thinks, I think that if I didn't do The Apprentice,

I would have become president, 'cause they picked me for a reason.

And

the only thing I do is I practice common sense, you know?

I'm a conservative guy, I guess, but it's all about common sense.

It's not about you're liberal, you're conservative.

We're, we want things that are, things that are common sense.

But people got to know me on The Apprentice,

which I guess they wouldn't have got

to know me quite that well. That was a lot of television time.
