Historical Analysis of Islamic Expansion and Slavery
And Muslims especially enslaved a lot of Europeans,
based on a tally I did a while back,
14 million Europeans were enslaved by Muslims.
Three quarters of the original Christian world
was conquered by Islam through extreme violence
of the sort that ISIS, the Islamic State,
which epitomized in the modern era atrocities,
what those caliphates and sultanates did in the 7th and 8th centuries,
make ISIS look like Boy Scouts, believe it or not.
I mean, the sheer horror.
The caliphate was destroyed, but we want to return to this greatness,
we want to conquer the world again.
Khalifatul Ardh, it's not just your Muslim land, it's the whole universe,
and as low as the planet Earth, the human affairs,
that you need to take control of and put the word of God in there,
through the Quran, and making sure everything is done,
you know, according to the Quran,
little and big, every single thing.
Islam continued to grow, it grew out of the Middle East,
it went into China, it conquered Spain,
it conquered parts of Italy, parts of Europe.
And by the 1600s, Islam had covered more of the
Earth's surface than the Roman Empire did at its peak.
And during that war, and during that expansion,
280 million people died.
In Islam,
when we conquer a country, of course there is nothing peaceful about it.
The Islamic slave trade operated for over 1400 years,
from the 7th century until the early 20th century.
Conservative estimates suggest that 11 to 17 million Africans were enslaved and transported to Islamic lands,
but the true number was likely much higher.
The Islamic slave trade differed from the Atlantic trade in one crucial and horrifying way,
systematic castration.
Between 80 and 90%
of male slaves destined for Islamic markets were castrated,
either before transport or upon arrival.
The mortality rate from this procedure was approximately 90%,
making it essentially a death sentence.
