Exploring Jacobite History and Heritage

So who out there has heard of the Jacobites of Scotland

and who out there has heard the correct version of history that they were

actually black?

So what got me started on this topic was initially tracing back

my family history on my mother's side to see how far back I could go.

The Mormon Church has records of a woman named Christian Duncan from

Scotland in 1750.

From what I've been able to research, that area of Scotland with the

last name Duncan comes from these roots, Celtic roots, which as you can see

it means of brown complexion.

From what I was able to gather from researching the

actual time in history and what was going on in that region,

it was roughly between 1688 and 1746 where there was a Jacobite uprising

and I mean pretty much they didn't want England taking over and ruling them.
