Quick definitions.
Cuckolding is a consensual bedroom dynamic
where usually a submissive man is turned on
by the idea of his female partner sleeping with another man.
Cuckweening is the gender inverse.
So where a woman is turned on by her male partner
sleeping with another woman.
So if it's basically the same thing,
why does cuckolding seem to be so much more popular
than cuckweening?
The answer is to do with cultural gender norms.
Historically, for centuries and centuries,
men have traditionally been much more dominant
and powerful than women,
who have traditionally been much more submissive.
So when a woman humiliates her male partner
by sleeping with another man,
it reverses this traditional hierarchy
much more aggressively than when the opposite happens.
And the more something goes against a cultural norm,
the more taboo it is.
And the more taboo it is,
the more it tends to excite people and turn them on.
So, in other words, cuckolding tends to be much more of a turn-on than cuckweening because
it's much more taboo in the context of gender historical hierarchies.
Now, just because cuckolding is comparatively more popular than cuckweening doesn't mean
that they're not both still really common bedroom interests.
After all, they both touch on themes of humiliation and submission, which are really, really common
preferences.
As always, no matter what you're exploring, discuss your limits beforehand, play with
safe words, and have plenty of aftercare.
