O Allah, Lord, by the right of Fatima and her father, her husband and her sons,

and the secret hidden within her,

do not make Egypt in need of any vile one among Your creation.

And O great people of Egypt,

and O army of Egypt in particular, march on and do not look back,

obey the words of the Beloved,

may prayers and peace be upon him,

on the day he handed the banner to the Prevailing Lion of Allah, the lion of the

East and the West, Ali, on the day of Khaybar, when he said to him:

Take the banner and do not look back, go on, O Ali, and do not look back.

Our great ones shaped it in one simple phrase in form, subtle in meaning:

“ One who looks back will never arrive.” And we will never look back,

O people of Egypt,

in the face of these makers of evil, for we are in the valley of civilization,

and they are in another valley, like a hollow drum, its sound heard from afar

while its inside is empty of all good. Every year, may you, O leader of my

nation, be well,

every year, O leader of our renaissance, may you be in goodness, honor, glory,

and pride, every year, may the best soldiers on earth

remain true to covenants and promises, roaring lions on the borders,

every year may the men of our security be in protection, safety, and well- being,

every year may the scholars of my nation gather upon the Qur’an,

and upon the love of our master Muhammad,

may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him.

And peace be upon them as they go forth,

and every year may the people of Egypt be in God’s safety and protection.

O Allah, lift the sword, the injustice,

and the killing from all the lands of the worlds, and spare the blood,

O Lord of the worlds.

O Allah, conceal our faults and grant us safety from our fears,

honor us through our humility to You alone,

and enrich us through our need for You alone.

O Allah, make our morning the morning of the righteous,

our tongues the tongues of those who remember You,

and our hearts the hearts of those who are grateful. O Allah, O Lord,

by the right of Fatima and her father, her husband and her sons, and by the hidden

secret within her,

do not make Egypt in need of any vile one among Your creation.

O Allah, do not make Egypt in need of any vile one among Your creation,

and fulfill our needs,

for You know them best, as a grace from You, O Most Generous,

and may Allah send prayers, peace,

and blessings upon our master Muhammad and his family, and praise be to Allah,

Lord of the worlds.
