Today, we repeat a history lesson for the officials and elders of the Islamic Emirate.

Whether they take this as advice,

or whether they take it as a warning.

However they cut and sew it, that is their business.

But we will tell them this history lesson.

When the Soviets came to Afghanistan,

the talk of Islam and patriotism came much later.

It was created. The narrative circulated, and the people became united and mobilized.

The first narrative that caused the defeat of the Soviets and led to the people's uprising,

against their ideology, their presence, and their philosophy,

was the rumor that the Soviets were violating women's honor.

And how much truth there is to that, that is another matter.

But based solely on that rumor, they clashed with God in this country.

When the Mujahideen succeeded, many atrocities occurred in Kabul.

But the worst, bitterest, and ugliest memory left in people's minds

are the violations of women's honor and clashing with God.

When the Americans came, it was also very easy.

For the first few years, everyone lived right here.

We didn't fall from the sky.

Until they started interfering with the moral fabric of society

and defying God.

If the Emirate does not have good advisors,

or as the elders used to say, the worst intoxication is the intoxication of power.

And we have indeed seen this several times.

We saw people who became powerful.

They became so intoxicated that the nature of society, religious rulings, customs and traditions,

their very character and identity were completely forgotten by them,

and they thought that they could completely strip this country of its clothes,

strip its culture and identity,

and put a new suit of clothes on it.

And those people fell into the dustbin of history.

Now, however much rumor or truth there may be about the Islamic Emirate,

that is a separate matter.

How much of it is documented, and how much is not, that is also a separate matter.

But, behind the Islamic Emirate, specifically behind the respected Ministry of Amr bil Ma'ruf,

there are rumors that

they are, to the honor of the nation,

insulting and humiliating.

Now, if we say that

the Islamic Emirate came and conquered

an infidel country and is teaching us Islam, it's not like that.

The nation has always been more Muslim than the governments.

I swear to God, if...

the Islam of the nation is found in the entire Emirate,

and you made sacrifices, the nation made sacrifices too.

You made sacrifices, became commanders, and got privileges.

The nation made sacrifices empty-handed,

but made sacrifices willingly,

and received no privileges, and still, compared to you...

Fear God, have shame before God!

Do not interfere with people's honor.

None of you are so righteous

that you should hold a stick in your hand

and discipline people's honor.

We know, we know each other.

I swear to God, if the people's anger rises against you once,

and the people cheer...

The people of Afghanistan have a power structure,

and this is nothing new.

This is nothing new.

Our whole lives have passed seeing that

the power structure rebelled, and the nation rose against it.

This nation has no strength left.

which underwent another major transformation,

and now you have come,

to respect the dignity and honor of the people.

Create a sense of respect.

Avoid insulting others.

Have a sense of humility before the nation.

Create a sense of service to the nation.

You came and got stuck all day in a big, useless job,

which is only 19 point something...

He has come and sat among you and us,

and you guide us with that level of authority?

No, we are all human beings.

We are all people of this land.

Our true nature is well known to everyone.

Do not get drunk on power.

Do not insult the honor of the people.

Insulting them on the streets,

insulting them in prisons,

insulting them in their homes—

this brings both the wrath of God

and the wrath of the nation.

And when they unite, no one can stand against them in this country.

You know this history,

and the nation knows it too.

Selling favors, sanctimoniousness, whatever you do,

keep it to your own level.

Boast in your offices, with your privileges,

but do not mess with the people.

Specifically, don't mess with other people's women.
