Analysis of Disaster Scene Presentation
Take a look at the people in the background.
It all looks like a big presentation, like a big stage production.
There's no scorching, there's no signs of any fire damage
on anywhere around here. Utility poles still standing, but
the brick and stone buildings in complete rubble, and the people's
clothes completely c- clean and pristine, like they just got
back from the cleaner. And I can speak firsthand,
coming from somebody that
just went through a disaster zone, like, you don't have time to grab your Sunday
best when you're getting out of the house.
You're wearing your pajamas, you're wearing whatever you have on.
There's going to be mismatched clothing, there's going to be, you know, s-
especially in the case of a great fire to this magnitude of the city
almost all burning down. You know, you'd have soot-covered people,
dirty faces. You know, you're not gonna have white,
white blouses like that.
Look at that. Not a single, like, speck of dirt, soot,
or anything on any of these ladies.
And they're all just kinda walking around with no sense of, like, a disaster.
Like, no, like, fear or dismay. They're just kind
of... Like, they're out for a stroll
