Manu Ginóbili praises Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama
Manu, we have very little time but we wanted to ask you,
you’re working in the franchise, you’re
contributing to what is today the present of the Spurs.
Which player on the current roster,
of this... of these brilliant San Antonio Spurs who started off really well,
with the most when you watch them practice and when you watch them play? Whew.
It is such a beautiful moment
for the Spurs. There is so much talent, and good kids.
Good people. I love Castle.
I love everything about him.
His body language, his aggressiveness, his game. I like the kind of player who...
you know, always competes with the same face, but is tenacious, aggressive,
gets to the rim, altruistic.
But well, obviously you see Wemby and you cannot help falling in love.
He is a... his game draws you in in a way that, of course, nobody else in the NBA
does and... Stephon Castle is extraordinary too, so...
We think he is the most similar to you. It is a great moment. Uh, yeah. He has...
he has some things, but I think he is going to be
five times, ten times more because he has a
number of tools
that I never had. I might have something else, a bit more shooting, whatever, but...
that I never had. I might have something else, a bit more shooting, whatever, but...
an ease getting to the rim and... and he uses both hands, he controls his body well,
he finishes well. So... and think that he is 19.
It is crazy. So anyway, great time to be a Spurs fan. I love you, Manu. I love you.

Y buenos pibes. Buena gente. Castle me encanta.
