If you're honest
enough to ask yourself, why would the
countries of Europe today destroy their
own economies in order to fight
to the last Ukrainian against Russia?
What, what are you doing? What's the point here?
And the
answer is Europe knows that its wealth
is ebbing away. It has been for a century.
The European countries are in a mad rush to
become tourist attractions.
They're done.
Why? They have no... The Belgians don't have the Congo.
The French don't have half of
Africa. The British don't have India.
The Japanese don't have Southeast Asia.
They don't have it, and they're not gonna get it back.
But if they could defeat Russia,
they would have at their disposal the largest country by
geogra- the geography on this planet.
Russia's immense,
and they could carve it up into little places.
You know, like they carved up
the Middle East into
Bahrain and
Kuwait and all these tiny little countries
that they can then set
against each other.
It's the last gasp
of a new colonialism that
might save them, and the nasty Mr. Putin
won't allow it. Oh, it's such a grief.
Here's the
problem. For the mass of the Europeans, this
makes no sense at all, and they're
right. It doesn't.
I wanna remind Americans,
'cause this issue is so important,
when Russia
imploded, promises were made to the Russians.
It's admitted by Angela Merkel and others, uh, and I'm not making anything
up, that the NATO alliance would not push
eastward. They did.
Poland joined,
then the Czech Republic, then
Romania and Bulgaria and all of them.
The last one was Ukraine. That was part of Russia before
anyway. At that,
Putin had said,
"You can't do it in Poland." They did it.
He didn't do anything.
"You can't do it in Czechoslovakia."
They did it. He didn't do anything.
"You can't do it in Romania
and Bulgaria." They did it.
He didn't do anything. "You
can't do it in Ukraine."
They did it.
He invaded. New York Times: "Without provocation, Mr.
Putin..." Huh? What? What?
That's America. Denial is its way of
handling complexity.
The Russians
did nothing about the NATO, NATO
moving close to their border
in all those countries,
and yet you portray them as
putting all of Europe at risk.
They're gonna invade all. What?
They're the ones who have been suffering your invasion
since 1990, and they didn't do anything about it,
except when you--
in the case of Ukraine,
'cause that was part of
Russia, and large numbers of
Russians lived there. You got a problem.
It's not that way in the other parts.
So none of that, none of that, none of that.
So the Europeans are
in their last gasp of
colonialism and so are
the Americans, and the rest of the world sees that.
And you know what it
does? It makes China, Russia,
and the BRICS much more cohesive
than they would otherwise
be, much more powerful and
solidified in their
view. They, they see
what the agenda
is, and they won't have anything to
do with it. So when Mr.
Victor Ha- Hanson or anyone like,
"This is a sign of strength," yeah,
sure it is. You keep believing that.
