Tucker Carlson's Influence on Trump Allies

I think somebody like Tucker Carlson, when he says that Donald Trump should

be removed immediately, and he, he's saying things like

that because he wants JD to be in a position where he

has to either agree with Tucker or cut him off.

And if he cuts him off, then he makes him a victim,

and they have a long

personal relationship. His son worked for JD, and so he's

putting pressure on JD. He's basically saying,

"I'm gonna get more and more

provocative in my anti-Trump zeal to put you in a position

where you're gonna have to, at some point, choose between what I represent

and Donald Trump." And that's gonna be difficult.

But so far, JD hasn't made that decision.

I was on his show every Monday night for six years, and I can tell you, he's not

low IQ. So when Trump says he's low IQ-

MAGA, and he doesn't want anything to do with

them, and that makes it even harder,

and they like that. So they try to provoke Trump as well, and

that's w- really what they're doing.

They're saying to JD, "We hate your boss, and we're gonna try to embarrass

you until you come out on our side. But if you don't come out on our side-

... we're gonna really ratchet it up so Trump

one day is gonna call you and say,

'Hey, JD, you're either on the team or you're not.'" And that's what they're

pushing for, a showdown.
