Safety Awareness in Emergency Situations
Excuse me.
Yeah?
Can, can you please help me? I j-
Are you okay?
No, I just fell. Um, c- can I please call my mom-
Oh, wow
... off your phone?
Yeah, yeah.
Thank you, thank-
London,
where is your situational awareness?
Do you see where you at?
Do you think it's the time to help him right now?
Really?
I know we wanna help, but sometimes it's best to not help,
'cause
helping could cost your life, especially in days like these.
You see what just happened?
He act like he was in pain or needed your help just to lure you in,
and just like that you'll never see your parents again.
Sometimes they come as a group. Sometimes, like, five of them watching you,
and they send one to do that job, the other one do their job,
and they play it like
a playbook, and you just fall right into it.
So I want you to know from right now, from today go on,
you don't fall for nothing like that.
You wanna help him, you say, "I'll call the cop for you." You don't get
in close
contact with him. You don't get close to him and say,
"I wanna help," and
especially in a situation like this. See this? It's private. It's lonely.
There's nobody here to help you if you need help.
They look for situation like this,
where they could easily target you, where there's no audience.
There's nobody watching. Say, "Okay, this girl is a easy target.
Let me grab her real quick." They play this victim mentality like they in pain,
they hurt, they need help, and you fall right into it.
Listen, guys, I know sometime we have it in our heart
wanna help people,
but always check the environment first.
Be aware, 'cause sometime people play victim to make
you the
victim, all right? You never wanna fall for that.
If you wanna help somebody, help them from a distance where they can't
get to you,
where they can't hurt you, where they can't harm you.
This is a serious situation that happen all around the world.
Sometime it's best to not help to be safe to go home alive to your family.
Y'all be safe out there.
