Building Consistency in New Habits
You're still not consistent. Your problem is you keep trying to use
force to push through the resistance between
you and the new habit you're trying to start.
Because the one thing that you've learned
and known your whole life
is that discipline is all you need to accomplish your goals.
But I'm here to tell you that using discipline to fuel a
goal is the exact same as using gasoline to
fuel a car. It always runs out, and you can't
go to the gas station to just fill up on discipline every time you run
out. So this is what you do. You need to emotionally
attach to the new behavior, because emotionally attaching
gives meaning, and when you give meaning, you're creating cause for the new
behavior. You are also creating safe somatic signals
within your body for your nervous system to pick up on.
You are overriding old beliefs. This is what allows your nervous system
to give your body the green light so you can follow through on the things that you
say you will. You consistently follow through because
the new habit has
become normal. It feels natural in the body.
There is no friction, which means you'll be naturally
consistent.
I'll teach you how to use these systems specifically for your
personal goals inside the Nervous System Factory Reset.
