Concerns About Root Canal Safety
Root canals are not safe.
One lady told me her root canal filling, it got so painful
that the painkiller did not help.
And the dentist discovered the tooth and the tooth next to it were all infected.
The dentist took both teeth out.
Six months later, she had cancer in her jaw.
The doctor took out the whole jaw.
She said to me, do you think that's connected?
Her whole body is connected.
One young man said his root canal filling was getting discoloured.
I said to him, I would have it taken out as soon as possible.
This young man was only 28 when he had the root canal taken out.
He said to me it was very embarrassing because when they took it out, the
smell was very bad.
So what can you do if you've got a root canal filling?
I can't tell you what to do,
but I can tell you what I would do. I would have it removed.
I asked the dentist to make sure he
also takes that periodontal ligament underneath. I have a friend who's a dentist.
In his practice, he removes root
canal fillings and he removes and replaces mercury fillings.
And he said what we do now is we do ceramic implants.
When the root canal filling has been taken out and the bone has all healed,
he said they put a ceramic implant into
the jaw and then they put a tooth on top.
And he said that they are having a lot of success with that.
