Co-pilot Stabs Captain on Flight
I really don't want to be that guy, but none of this makes
any sense. If you haven't heard yet, the official story is
that on a flight from
Dubai to Tel Aviv this morning, the co-pilot stabbed the captain
and tried to crash the airplane. Passengers then stormed the cockpit to
disarm the rogue pilot to regain control of the airplane.
The flight then makes an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia.
The Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Kat, has since deemed this incident to be a,
quote, "attempted jihadist terror attack." Here's
Donald Trump responding.
Guy out of the seat, threw him back. The crowd got him.
The passengers got him,
grabbed him,
and having never flown a pl- a plane, he took the stick,
lifted it up,
and leveled out the plane before it crashed.
Now, this is the story that I heard.
I don't know if it's true,
but that's the story that I got from Bibi.
Story from Bibi, who, mind you, yesterday stood in front of a fighter
jet to do a press conference warning the world that Iran was
planning some kind of attack.
Now, the Iranians immediately responded, again before the attack,
and said Israel, quote, "Was planning an attack on aircraft
or airports in the
region that would then be blamed on Tehran to generate international pressure."
Well, that attack indeed came vis-a-vis an
alleged jihadist
pilot of Omani nationality. Now, here's where the story starts to
not make any sense, in that Omani pilots are forbidden
from flying to Israel. The Jerusalem Post is reporting
that Mossad, Shin Bet,
IDF, and the Israeli Transportation Ministry
have opened a joint probe into the
incident, focusing on whether there was any indication of an attack prior to
the
flight, and how an Omani pilot would have been
permitted to fly the aircraft.
It is indeed very weird how that could have happened,
especially considering that
pilots in the region have to undergo individual security screening
before receiving authorization to enter Israeli airspace and land in the
country. Keep in mind that Israel has maybe the tightest
security
protocols in the entire world. They also add that the pilot has worked
for the airline, Flydubai, for less than a year.
And then came the photo ops of Netanyahu with the heroic
passenger in a blood-stained shirt, who allegedly stormed the cockpit,
pulled the pilot off, and saved the aircraft from crashing
because he
learned how to fly a plane from watching a TV show.
Finally, the passenger took off his shoe to show
Netanyahu his
blood-soaked socks, which he had on apparently for
the eight hours that he was waiting on the ground in Saudi Arabia
after the
emergency landing to be transported back to Israel to meet with the
prime minister. And in the aftermath of the incident,
the Israeli government is
calling for more war, right on cue
