I woke up at about 6 o'clock, at 6 o'clock in the morning there was a knock at the door

and I think the husband of the copper where I stayed, he opened the door and in burst

something like 6 Gestapo agents and one guy came over to me and he pointed a gun at me

and said to stay in bed, I didn't know what was going on and then he said to me something

totally stupid.

You know, he who sleeps has more enjoyment from life, and I mean, I found it excruciatingly

difficult to sleep with a guy holding a gun over your head.

Did they say why they were there?

Hmm?

They didn't say why they were there?

Had you heard words?

You never learn that.

You never argue.

You never question.

And you certainly...

Don't get involved with people who hold guns and point guns at you.

This is one lesson which you have to learn, you know, never get involved in debates with people who hold guns.

Particularly if they don't mind using them.

And these people, they had the license to kill.

Is that the proper word?

Yeah, is that the proper term? I don't know.

Here in the States they ask me about Trump and Hitler.

In Europe they ask me if he's going to start a second war, a world war.

You see, the difference between Trump and Hitler and Trump and war is completely different.

Trump and Hitler is an ideological comparison and it's something that doesn't touch you.

You can ignore it.

You can turn off the light or the television.

War is in your area, in your living room.

You cannot turn it off.

You cannot ignore it.

It's something completely different, it's much more tangible and it affects you.

The fact that Trump is like Hitler, that's his problem, that's his issue and as long

as he acts that way and nobody reacts, who cares?

But war is not something that you can turn over in your bed and say, I'm going to ignore

it.

You know, if your house is destroyed and your children are murdered.
