Yemen War: Could Ansar Allah Target Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman
Honestly, it's so heartbreaking. It's, and not, the press...
That's why I was asking you what you feel, because
the world doesn't cover the crisis in Yemen like they cover crises everywhere
else. Like Gaza, it's atrocious what's going on there,
but it's all
over the headlines. It's what everyone really talks about.
Um, Yemen,
no one even knows there's a war there.
No one even knows about the 2015 war, the wars before that, the hundreds of
thousands that have died. I've always said this.
Yeah.
It's, um, it's a really depressing story.
Um,
the w- I, I wanna go back to
the original point you made about Ansar Allah potentially invading
Saudi.
You also said to my co-host about the risks of, to the royal family.
There was a report by The Wall Street Journal a while ago that, um,
Mohammed bin Salman was going, was staying in bunkers, was really
paranoid, had
handpicked security around him.
And I spoke to guests who said, Mario, that, you know, that shouldn't come as a
surprise because the targeting by the, by Ansar Allah has been really
precise. So all it takes is one ballistic missile at a target where
MBS is at, and, um, and obviously he could be killed, so
his fears are not unfounded. Is there any...
Could there...
Does Ansar Allah have any ambitions to target
the prince of Saudi? And if they don't, could they have those
ambitions if this goes on?
Uh, I think it could be maybe at this point,
maybe they, uh, they, they, they,
they, they, they don't have, uh, maybe that, uh, uh, because they still,
they
always try to let the other side to escalate.
This is actually one of the main points that, uh, uh, they do, and as well this is
actually kind of, uh, their belief.
Uh, like, like the truce. I mean, just imagine they have waited since 2022,
uh, and they were waiting when the Saudi will break the truce.
Because they know if we are the one who break the truce,
this mean that we will not
be successful in our fight and God will not help us.
This is actually one of the things that sometime I, I say, "No, look, I mean,
you, you should actually target Saudi Arabia."
So, but anyway, this a- So I
think, uh, at one point,
uh, the, the, the, the, they could, uh, uh, try that and they could actually
be, uh, as you mentioned, like take one missile,
one hypersonic missiles,
because some of the missile that has reached Saudi Arabia
and targeted areas
inside Saudi Arabia, there were no sirens, there was no warnings, especially those
hypersonic ballistic missile. And I believe that Yemen,
uh, all the missiles that they have, they have used, for example, against the
Zionists or against the United States during the Prosperity Guardian or against
Yemen, we call it the Genocide Guardian.
Uh, uh, uh, I believe that Yemeni, if they use a missile, they
have
maybe two or three,
uh, uh, uh, upgrade of that missile.
They, they are not using their latest because
they know and they
believe the war will get bigger, so it will be stupid to use all your card.
This is exactly what the Saudi done when they have targeted Yemen with those
hundreds of thousands of airstrike they used every day.
So if, uh, if at one point that will come, I believe that Mohammed bin
Salman will not be afraid only from Sanaa forces or attack from Sanaa.
He's, he's w- he's afraid as well from the royal s-
family itself
because he have damaged the royal family. He have imprisoned hundred of them.
He have sacked, uh, um, Mohammed bin Nayef, who
was supposed to be,
uh, uh, uh, the, the, the, the, the, the Crown, uh, uh, uh, Prince.
So there is a, a, a, a hatred, uh, inside Saudi Arabia,
especially inside, uh, uh, the royal family towards Mohammed bin
Salman.
Because, uh, what he did, actually, he's as well damaging the reputation
of, uh, Saudi Arabia as the country of the holy
place, Mecca and
Medina.
