Girls Gather in Herat to Support Islamic Hijab

In Herat, by holding a gathering, they emphasized the importance of observing

Islamic hijab, and called on other women and girls to preserve the religious and

cultural values of society. During the gathering, these girls, holding placards

with slogans

such as " Hijab is a woman's chastity" and" Hijab is a command of Islam,"

emphasized adherence to hijab as one of the important Islamic values."

Whoever wears the hijab

stays safe from all harm and, for example, stays away from all sins,

and does not fall into sin. But someone who does not wear hijab commits

a sin herself, and also whoever, for example,

looks at her and so on,

falls into sin. This pure and

great chador has reached us from Hazrat Fatima,

and it is a keepsake left to us from Hazrat Fatima.

Until the time of death and as long as we are alive,

this chador will be on our heads, and we will never take it off.

They say that hijab is part of the Islamic and cultural identity of Muslim women,

and observing it It can play an effective role in strengthening religious and

social values. These girls say that the protest of some people against

the hijab does not align with the Islamic teachings and the values of a

Muslim society.

I feel sorry for such families who, because they have to observe the hijab,

take to the streets saying we don't want the hijab. Aren't we Muslims then?

Don't we accept the religion of Islam?

Islam has told us a woman's chastity is her hijab.

The participants of this gathering say they support the implementation of the

hijab ruling and consider it for the good of their Muslim sisters.

They ask all women and girls of Herat to, by observing the Islamic hijab,

contribute to preserving religious and cultural values of the society.

so it is necessary for us to observe the Islamic hijab…
