Elon Musk Discusses Faith and Jesus

This man asked Elon Musk if he would accept Jesus as his Lord

and Savior, and watch his response.

We're wondering if you could do us a quick solid and accept Jesus as your Lord and

Savior.

On the show?

Real quick.

Um...

Personal lord and savior.

Just a quick prayer.

Uh...

I mean, let's just say, like, I agree with

the principles that Jesus advocated.

Um,

and th- that the,

you know, there are some, some... there's great wisdom in what, in,

in the teach-

teachings of, of Jesus, uh, and I agree with those

teachings.

Um,

and things like turn the other cheek are,

are very important because,

as opposed to an eye for an eye. Um, an eye for an eye leaves everyone blind.

So

forgiveness,

you know, is important, and,

um,

treating people as you would wish to be treated.

Love thy neighbor as thyself.

Very important.

So that's like a 60, 70% yes?

As- As Einstein would say,

I believe in the God of Spinoza.

Um, so...

Um, but hey, if, um,

you know, if, if, if Jesus is, is, uh, saving people, I mean, I, I,

I wouldn't stand in his way, you know? Like, I'll be sure. I'll be saved.

Why not?

Okay. Sweet. We did it.

Yeah.

I think he just said yes.

We got

him. All right. We got him.

I'm not one to expect to be saved, but- ... sounds good.

Do you wanna get baptized or anything real quick?

I was baptized.

Oh, okay.

He's Anglican, you know.

Yeah.

Oh. Yeah, he's done that.

Th- they dunked, they dunked me in the water when I was-

Yeah

... just a baby.

Cool.

For all the people out there that say that rich people can't get into heaven,

you're wrong. Yes, Jesus did say it is hard for a rich

person to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but what did he also say?

He said, "With God, all things are possible." Think

about if Elon Musk became a devout Christian,

how much good he can do in this world.
