Zack Snyder's The Last Photograph Premiere
Come with me to Zack Snyder's The Last Photograph premiere today in Toronto.
Let's go. Whoever said nobody watches Zack Snyder's
films, look at the line, man.
Come on.
Hey, my name's Cameron Bailey. I'm the CEO here at TIFF.
Are you ready for the new Zack Snyder?
Because I think you know what he is well, well known for.
Dawn of the Dead in 2004, 300-
Woo
... 2006. Watchmen in '09.
Launching the DC Extended Universe with Man of Steel.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. And of course, the famous Snyder Cut.
We're really honored and we're thrilled to have this
remarkable,
original voice in filmmaking here to introduce The Last
Photograph to you. Please join me in welcoming Zack Snyder.
Come on. Daddy.
How are you? I'm Cameron, it's a pleasure. Hey, guys.
Woo!
Woo!
Um, yeah, just a couple, just a couple of quick words.
I just want to say, um, uh, awesome to be here at TIFF.
You know, TIFF, um, is an incredible festival with
probably the greatest cinema audiences in the world, and, um,
that's why it's an honor to be here.
And, uh, I'm also- it's an- a great place to show this movie.
Um,
but I've been working on the movie for, I don't know, close to two decades.
And to me, it's like a love letter to this passionate
thing I like to
do, make movies, for God only knows why they let me do
this.
Um, but they do, so I'm gonna keep doing it.
Zack Snyder's newest film, The Last Photograph. Wow.
Visual is definitely amazing. 10 out of 10.
Story, I still need to process it a little bit
more, but what an
interesting concept. The chemistry between those main
characters, definitely
showing it, right? And it was absolutely astonishing for me.
Mind-blowing, eye-exploding, a visual
spectacle. I would say I want to watch it again.
But Zack, I only filmed you from very far away up in
the mountain in the Himalaya,
and this time I wish I can see you. Maybe we can arrange something for the
show.
Hey, but Zack, good job once again.
Highly recommend people to watch this movie, but if you are not ready
for a high in-depth emotional film, then you
gotta be prepared. All right? No spoilers, but highly recommend.
Au revoir.
