Purity Culture, Religion, and the Power of Women's Voices

From knowing herself and even loving herself.

And this always ties into the purity culture.

This ties into keeping yourself to one man, keeping your legs closed, cover up,

don't show your breasts, don't show your body.

They-- it all ties into the same thing because

it's all tied into

keeping the woman what? Entrapped. Keeping the woman what? Down bad.

Keeping the woman what? Afraid of her own body,

and damn sure afraid to even

speak her voice. This is the main reason why in

religion, they love to say that a woman can't speak in church,

that a woman must

remain quiet, that a woman must not say anything,

her husband has to

speak for her. These things were set in place for a reason because

they

know, they know that our voice,

especially siren women, they know that the woman's voice is fucking

power.

They know that the woman's voice is power, especially

siren women that come from the sea, like moi.

They know that our voice is fucking power, and they want to

make sure that it is not heard. They want to make sure that it is

off. They want to make sure that their-- your throat chakra is off and

that you're disconnected from your own voice.

They need that

because when you don't speak up for yourself, when you don't speak your mind,

all

of that stuff is entrapped within your body
