CKB and Quantum-Resistant Blockchain Security
Quantum computing is becoming a very serious conversation in crypto,
particularly
because of the security threat it poses to the blockchain network.
But here's something interesting about the Network CKB.
CKB was designed with cryptographic abstraction,
letting developers introduce new
security models without altering the fundamental rules.
Now let's look at the numbers. In twenty twenty-three,
CKB developers built a
quantum resistant log script using Strings+.
By twenty twenty-five, this technology has already been deployed
to the CKB
mainnet. And today, CKB supports quantum resistant transaction
signatures, but the
users particularly have to adopt it.
The interesting thing isn't that CKB predicted quantum computing.
It is that from day one, the architecture was built to accommodate
flexible
cryptographic changes, and that distinction alone
is becoming a relevant
conversation while putting CKB ahead of the so many other
blockchain networks.
