Can a Daily Plank Burn Belly Fat

Can a three-minute plank every day really burn your belly fat?
Your belly muscles do burn fat during a plank, just not the fat sitting right on top of them.
It isn't burned where you work, it's pulled from all over your body through your blood.
Imagine you're on the floor in a plank, arms shaking, the timer crawling toward three minutes.
Your belly fat isn't stored inside your muscles.
It sits in fat cells under your skin and deeper around your organs, like millions of tiny bags of oil.
When your muscles need fuel, your body sends a signal through your blood to fat cells everywhere at once.
They break their fat into small pieces called fatty acids and release them into your bloodstream.
Your blood carries them to whichever muscle is working, and that muscle burns them.
So the fuel for your abs can come from your arms, your back, or your legs.
Scientists tested this. In one study, people trained just one leg for twelve weeks.
They lost fat, but from their arms and their trunk, not from the leg they trained.
Another trial gave people seven ab exercises, five days a week for six weeks.
Their belly fat didn't change. Their abs just got stronger.
And a plank burns very little. For someone around eighty kilos, three minutes is roughly twelve calories.
So fifteen days of it adds up to about one or two bananas.
I also looked for the new study behind the fifteen-day plank claim, and I couldn't find it.
So keep the plank because it makes your core stronger, but the fat leaves when you burn more than you eat with your whole body moving.
So your plank was never burning your belly.
It was burning fuel your blood brought in from everywhere.
The problem is that most workout plans are made for people at their peak, not for the body you have after forty.
So I made a short assessment that shows you the best way to get in shape at your age.
