Congresswoman Adams Controversy Discussion
I don't appreciate that. You are disrespectful.
Want an autograph.
Get out of my face.
I-- Here is, uh, a picture of Congresswoman
Adams in Israel with Benjamin Netanyahu three years ago.
This is a fifty-five thousand dollar trip paid for by an Israel
lobby. Um, two years ago, she voted for twenty-six billion in aid,
um, and she knows that Israel is committing war crimes.
That's why when she voted against defunding our aid to the military in
July, that she said, "Hey, I'm for this act called Block the Bombs,"
which doesn't
block the bombs. It just says the president can't do a few
things.
So this is an example of Congresswoman Adams saying one thing, uh, but
her actions are doing something else for a foreign country.
And so for this act, I am nominating her for an
Oscar, and I have one question. Last time you saw this, you said,
"Do you want an autograph?" I did not have a pen. I have a pen now.
I do want an autograph.
Get out of my face.
I-- She said I could have an autograph. I want an autograph.
Thank you.
Promises made, promises not kept.
I don't appreciate that. You are disrespectful.
I'm just pointing out what you've done.
I'm just pointing out what you've done, and you know that.
If you knew I was wrong, you'd say I'm wrong.
What I have done... When you go to Congress or
when you go and, and serve
in any capacity, you have to learn.
Yes, I went on a trip four times to Israel,
to Rwanda
with my colleagues. That's one of the first things they do,
with Republicans and
with Democrats, to learn about what I needed to know.
