Bill Gates Warns of AI Bio-Terrorism Threat

You think it's odd to hear Bill Gates warning about a bio-terrorism

AI threat just weeks after he invested in the first ever

creation of 16 synthetic viruses using AI?

Yeah, it's absolutely absurd, and you can't even make it up.

Literally, two weeks ago, a paper was published in the journal

Science. The main author on that study was funded by Bill

Gates and his foundation, and they created the first ever

AI-made viruses, 16 of them,

functional bacterial phages. So they were able to replicate in

bacteria, kill the bacteria, and spawn new synthetic

bacterial phages. So he funded that study published two weeks ago,

and now he goes

on CNN warning of bio-terrorism from AI and

warning that we need to monitor all these people while he's the

one that spawned this into existence.

We need to monitor things like creating, uh, a

dangerous virus, uh, to, to see if that's

happening. These AIs have gotten dramatically more

powerful, even

faster than I expected. They're now capable of causing

bio-terrorism risk.
